Presents “Rockin’ For A Reason”

The Rooms for a Reason Foundation is a non-profit organization located in

Charlottesville, Virginia. Kathy Dahlstrom, a two-time breast cancer survivor,

founded the organization eight years ago. We redecorate rooms for people

going through cancer treatments who have limited ability to change their

environment. Our goal is to create a room that supports rest and relaxation.

Each room is different and is targeted to fill the primary recovery space with

colors and objects the client loves to assist them in the healing process. We help

children and adults of all ages.

We are currently planning our first large fundraiser Rockin’ For A Reason.

This event will be held Saturday, July 21st 2012 from 7 pm-11 pm. The Event

will be held at the Elks Lodge in Charlottesville and we will provide food, dancing,

a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle. Individual tickets to the event are $15.
